SLC Trip

The Lion House

The Beehive House

Why is there such a draw to always jump on hotel beds?

The Swenson family had our annual outing to Salt Lake. My parents started going before I was born and we still do it today. And still after 20 years of the tradition I'm not sick of it. I look forward to it every year. We usually go up on a Friday and spend the night. This year we ate the Lion House(one of our favorites). Parker made it a little more eventful this year by ralphing all over his plate at the restaraunt. Then we visited Backers Bakery and went to the Zoo. Hit up the Jazz game , went swimming and did a little shopping. I have to say I loved every minute of it! I actually think Dal did too. He is a pretty good sport to put up the Swensons(me and my mom mainly) shinanigans. It always is over too quick but always a blast.

Halloween

I wanna rock'n'roll all night...

We had a run in with Obama.

This lovely couple is Dallas's G&G Pruitt AKA: Beth and Dog the bounty hunter.
I love this picture! Go Kenny.

All the girls dressed up at work for Halloween. Don't we look cute.

Were off to see the wizard...

I'm a real boy:)

Dallas and I had a few costume changes this halloween. We were Glenda the good witch and the scarecrow from wizard of oz and kiss and baseball players. Dal's whole family decided to dress up like all the characters from the wizard of oz. I thought we all turned out quite cute. Lisa's costume is definitely the best she is the wizard, be sure to check her out in the photo ya can't miss her ha ha love ya lis.

Loafer

Ya gotta love the 70's. I'm guessing that is when my grandpa brought this orange coat up to the cabin and left it for people to use.

My fam went up to our cabin a little while back to spend the weekend. I can't believe how beautiful it is up there in the fall. We had so much fun carving pumpkins , going on four wheeler rides and sitting by the fire. Now we can't wait to get up there with the snowmobiles!

MMMmmmm FaLL

Last weekend Dal and I went camping up Sheep Crick with Dal's fam or for those of you who like to speak proper english Sheep Creek. However you like to pronounce it, it sure is pretty up there. I would say the best part was staying in a nice trailer. I am only used to tenting it and it never really bothered me until i knew what I was missing out on. I guess once you go trailer you don't go back. Oh wait unless you are a newlywed and thats all you can afford, dang.

Lola lost her first tooth

That white dot in my hand would be Lola's tooth.

I had to document that Lola lost her first tooth. My little puppy is growing up :)

Viva Las Vegas!!!

This is where we stayed.

This delectable dessert is tiramasu, which in actually inside in the coffee cup made out of chocolate with the most delicious whipped cream on top, dusted with cocoa and topped with steam made out of chocolate. WOW!

M&M Factory gotta love it

Dal and I hit up Las Vegas a few weeks ago, a second honeymoon I guess. We had a blast though. I think everything we did there was my favorite part. Just lounging by the pool ( mind you I was like the whitest chick out there) going on roller coasters, eating at way yummy resturaunts, going to shows. My mom, dad, aunt Joan and uncle Sam came down too and fun was definitely had by all... except maybe my uncle Sam:)

This is on the drive up to Silver Meadows. Lola loves to hang out the window and have her face on the wind.

These past two weekends Dallas and I have been to family reunions. One was the Ford reunion and one was the Robison reunion. Growing up I have never really had family reunions so it has been fun going to Dallas's. We had so much fun at both I think my favorite part was just sitting around the fire or around the table and just talking We would always end up laughing so hard it hurt which is one of my favorite things to do. The Ford Reunion was up at Silver Meadows. Everyone brought their trailers or their tents and we camped out. We decided to take Lola on our little outing, which ended up going pretty much like I thought it would go. The first night after two failed attempts of trying to get Lola to go to the bathroom I took her into the tent with me so I could get into my pajamas. After changing I turned around to find Lola had went to the bathroom all over one of the pillows and sleeping bags. So luckily we someone had an extra sleeping bag and Dal just slept without a pillow. It was to bad though our air mattress was flat before we even lied down. Then the next day Lola had some trouble keeping her food down. She first threw up in my father in laws truck and then in our tent. When I looked at it it was full of pine needles and bark and who knows what else. The camping diet didn't sit very well with Lola as you can tell. Other than the dog incidents we had a wonderful time. Where we were at was so beautiful and we had such a blast with Dals fam. The next family reunion we went to was in Idaho. I know I am probably boring you with all this writing so I'll let the pics tell the story. For full effects though you have to visit Lisa and Eddies blog or Jenny and Jakes they will have pics of the best thing we did there. If any of you have seen the t.v. show wipe out and the the big red balls we made our own homemade version with a tractor, blown up ball and a tube. Slightly red neck but it was worth it.
