The Proposal

Two Saturdays ago was quite the day for me and Dal. We got engaged and Dal did such a good job planning it all. I was actually quite surprised because Dal convinced me the he wasn't going to be able to get the ring for another week. I'm much too gullible. The day started by us going to lunch at Carrabas, which is where we went on our first date. Then after that we went back to Dal's house and we were walking down the stairs and I saw some rose petals at the bottom and I still didnt clue into what was going on. Then I turned the corner and there was a trail of rose petals leading to a cute little table with a big vase of roses on it, the ring and cupcakes. The story behind the cupcakes is when we first started dating I would make Dallas cupcakes all the time and would pipe things out of chocolate to stick in the top. So he piped will you marry me out of chocolate and put it in the cupcakes. He definitely out did himself with those ha ha. And so he popped the question and of course I said yes and shed a few tears(of joy) and after it was all over I wanted to do it again. Moments like that are so fun and you build up the aticipation forever and then when they happen they go by too fast. It was definitely memorable though and we wont ever forget it.
